Perforated mats make sense wherever liquids or swarf collect: they drain through the mat and keep the standing surface drier. That makes them a good fit for wet or oily areas such as commercial kitchens and workshops.
Which mat is suitable where oil and grease are present?
Mats made from resistant materials such as nitrile rubber are the usual choice where oil, grease or cutting fluids are present. For versions with test documentation, we can confirm resistance to your specific media on request.
How do I avoid trip edges with floor mats?
Choose mats with a low profile, bevelled edges and a secure fit. If necessary, mats can be fixed in place or fitted with edge profiles. Check mats regularly for raised edges.
Is anti-slip matting available made to measure?
