Frequently asked questions about heavy-duty anti-slip mats
Does an anti-slip mat replace load securing?
No. Anti-slip mats increase the friction between the load and the load bed. They complement lashing equipment and form-fit securing but do not replace them. Calculating the load securing remains the responsibility of the shipper.
Can heavy-duty anti-slip mats be reused?
Many mats are designed for repeated use. Check them for cracks, contamination and oil residues before each use, as these reduce friction.
What thickness and format do I need?
That depends on the weight, contact area and type of load. Strips, pads or made-to-measure cut pieces are common. Send us photos, dimensions and a brief description of the conditions of use via the contact form. We will then suggest suitable versions.
