S3 Safety Boots with All-Terrain Sole for Construction Sites, Roofs and Rough Terrain

S3 safety boots with All-Terrain sole: secure footing on construction sites, gravel, mud, roofs and rough terrain – non-slip, heat-resistant and penetration-resistant.

On loose, gravelly, muddy or uneven ground, tread depth decides how much grip you get. The safety boots with All-Terrain sole presented here feature a deep, coarse-cleated tread with bevelled edges and a depth of 4 to 8 mm at the outer rim, which cleans itself and grips at every point of the sole. The raised heel in the mid-section provides extra security on stairs, ladders, gravel and convex surfaces such as pipes or logs. All models are certified to EN ISO 20345 S3, with a heat-resistant HRO rubber sole, cold and heat insulation and a slip-resistant outsole (SRC or SR).

The All-Terrain boots are the ideal complement to our anti-slip solutions for construction sites, anti-slip ladder rung covers and winter safety solutions for stairs and paths. For wet, slippery indoor floors, we recommend our non-slip work shoes with scale-pattern sole instead.

All-Terrain sole with 4 to 8 mm deep self-cleaning cleats for construction sites and rough terrain

Advantages of the All-Terrain sole

  • Grip on any surface: loose soil, gravel, crushed stone, mud, grass, snow – the deep cleated tread bites even where flat soles float on top.
  • Self-cleaning: bevelled cleats eject soil and stones as the foot rolls through; the tread does not clog.
  • Raised heel: secure footing on ladder rungs, stairs, scaffolding and pipes; protection against slipping backwards.
  • HRO rubber: heat-resistant up to 300 °C contact heat, oil- and fuel-resistant – suitable for asphalt, roofing and outdoor welding work.
  • Width 12 (width 11 on request): comfortable even for wider feet and thick winter socks.

Frequently asked questions

How does the All-Terrain sole differ from a standard S3 sole?

Standard S3 cleated soles usually have flat cleats of 3–4 mm. The All-Terrain sole works with bevelled cleats of up to 8 mm depth at the rim and a raised heel – comparable to a trekking or mountaineering boot sole, but in an oil- and heat-resistant HRO rubber compound.

Are the boots also suitable for ladders?

Yes. The raised heel prevents the foot from slipping off the rung; models CA-B0741-CWA and CA-B0745-CWA additionally carry the LG marking (ladder grip zone) under the new standard. As a complement, we recommend anti-slip rung covers.

Which sizes and widths are available?

All models in sizes 39 to 47, width 12 as standard; width 11 on request. For businesses, we offer size runs, volume pricing and wear trials.
